A new collection.
Decades in the making.
Raht grew from a simple belief — that the most memorable hotels aren’t necessarily the biggest, but the ones with a distinct sense of place, personality and warmth.
Every Raht retreat is designed around the land it sits on, rather than built to a format we repeat. A desert fort in Rajasthan and a mountain vineyard in Himachal feel nothing alike.
We keep every place deliberately small — eight guests at Manmatha, twenty at Juneo, even in peak season. Fewer guests means more attention, and a stay that stays with you. We build the experience from what the land already gives: its fruit, its stone, its views, its weather.
None of that is a style choice. It is how the business works
For more than two decades we worked on other people’s hotels. Through Spectra Hospitality Services we advised owners, developed concepts, worked alongside leading hotel brands, and helped create, open and improve properties across India.
That work covered every part of the business — development, operations, asset management, pre-opening, revenue, marketing and owner advisory. It taught us what makes a hotel work commercially, and, just as often, what makes a beautiful building fail.
After years of doing that for others, we wanted to apply everything we had learned to a collection of our own. Not a chain. A small number of places with a point of view, run the way we would want them run if we were staying.
Raht is the result — the natural evolution of creating hotels for other people into building something personal.
Raht Hotels & Resorts is the owned boutique hospitality brand of Spectra Hotels & Resorts Pvt. Ltd., built upon more than two decades of experience across hotel development, operations and advisory.
That is the whole relationship, stated plainly. Spectra is the experience; Raht is what we chose to build with it.
Founded by hospitality veteran Navneet Nagpal, Raht draws upon more than two decades of experience through Spectra Hospitality Services. Raht brings that experience together into something more personal — a collection of intimate hotels and retreats that we would want to stay in ourselves.
Navneet has spent over two decades working across the hospitality industry — advising hotel owners, developing concepts, working with leading hotel brands and helping create, open and improve hotels across India.
Raht is the natural evolution of that journey: moving from creating hotels for others to building a collection shaped by everything learned along the way.
Some places deserve more than a flag. They deserve a point of view.
The people who run it.
A small team drawn from across the hospitality business — operations, brand, revenue, asset management and the kitchen.

Alongside them, retreat teams live on each property, and consultants shape the food, the wine and the bar.
