Raht Juneo Orchards
A working vineyard and orchard across fifty acres in the Himalayan foothills, at around 1,300 metres. Built for staying longer than a day visit — walk the rows, sit with a glass, trek down to the Giri, or do nothing at all.
Five cottages · up to 20 guests · 50-acre working estate Enquire about a stay
Five cottages, each taken whole.
Five private cottages, spread down the slope so no one shares a wall or a view. One commands the estate, one watches the valley, one lives among the vines. Each is taken in its entirety.

Leela Nilay
The heart of the estate. Drawing room, dining and kitchen, with a private porch over the orchard; both bedrooms en-suite, steps from Taraak.

Leela Kunja
A two-storey residence with a private suite on each level — self-contained, opening to uninterrupted hill views. Take it whole, or a single level.

Leela Drakh
Two suites set among the orchard rows, each with its own entrance and the hills framed in every window.
The vineyard · Rajgarh, HimachalFour varietals, grown at altitude.
Tempranillo, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, chosen for the altitude and the wide Himalayan swing between day and night, on limestone slopes above the Giri. Harvest comes in late June.
Fruit picked in small lots.
Alongside the vines, a heritage orchard of heirloom peach, plum and apricot — picked in small quantities and eaten within days of harvest.
Grown here, made here, found nearby.
Around eighty percent of what Taraak serves is grown on the estate — fruit from the orchard, vegetables and herbs from the garden, grape leaves, verjus and vinegar from the vineyard. Fire leads the cooking, and the menu follows what is ripe that day: all-day plates, or four- and seven-course tasting menus by reservation.
The land sets the pace.
Walk the rows with the viticulturist through morning mist; in harvest, join the picking crew at dawn and taste must straight from the barrel; sit for a private cellar tasting with the sommelier. Beyond the vines: trails down to the Giri River, orchard picnics, foraging walks, and estate dogs for company.
Twenty guests, and no more.
The estate hosts no more than twenty at a time, so fifty acres never feel shared. For a celebration, the whole estate can be taken — all five cottages, yours alone.
An hour past the last town, and worth it.
